| I currently have a 94 LT1 engine and tranny and am interested in doing a swap into a 91-94 300. I'm curious which car you think would be the best for this; Turbo or non-turbo. These are my concerns.. 1) Structural differences - Was there any difference in the way the 2 cars were re-enforced? (ie. could the frame of the NA take 700 hp?) 2) Handling - is there any difference between the Turbo and N/A (ie. wheelbase, HICAS, weight of the car without the engine) and can the HICAS system be kept if I go with the conversion (is it even worth it?) My other question is a bit harder to answer but here goes.. I have an 87 Turbo that had the conversion done and it was allmost like the car was made for this Drivetrain. It fit beautifully. The torque was amazing with it. The only issue I had with it was that the Transmission mounted too close to the floor of the car which made the 6 speed shifter stick too high in the air. Almost the entire shifter lever was exposed. It would have to be cut about 6 inches in order to obtain a stock look. Does anyone know if the dimensions of the 5-speed transmissions of the z31/z32 was any different? That would pretty much tell me if I will have the same problem when I mount the transmission in the new car. Thanks. Chris
